Like most kids, I first became interested in chemistry because it was colourful,
smelly and explosive! State-of-the-art chemistry now studies matter at the
atomic level, but still gives me the same thrill: I will show with
demonstrations and slides how fun chemistry is connected with the most
modern developments in new materials and medicine.
