Annual General Meeting and 8th Meeting of the 196th Session (2016-2017)
Dr Alison Morrison-Low
The Society's AGM will be held in the Augustine United Church
41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1EL
On Monday 5th June 2017, at 7pm
The President, Professor Stuart Monro, will be in the Chair.
Only Fellows of the Society may participate in this part of the evening's proceedings.
It is expected that the AGM will take no more than half an hour after which Dr Alison Morrison-Low will give a short talk on “The Origins of the Stereoscope” which she describes as “full of the irascible Sir David Brewster, founder of the RSSA”.
After Dr Alison Morrison-Low's talk there will be a social event with a buffet, wine and soft drinks.
All Fellows are warmly invited to come along and to bring a guest; if the guest is someone who might be interested in joining the RSSA, then so much the better.
There is a hearing loop in the meeting room and ramped access to the building is available.
